Stoneleigh Chardonnay Marlborough 750ml

Nectarine and white-fleshed peach and cream aromas are coupled with toasty oak notes on a well-integrated palate with textural weight and a soft, creamy finish. The palate shows textural weight and balance with a soft, creamy finish, and all the flavours are bound together with well-structured and well-integrated layers of oak complexity. The wine is lemon straw in colour. The nose has vibrant fruit intensity, with musky nectarine and stone fruit pith, white fleshed peaches and cream coupled with subtle toasty oak aromas. There are also nuances of roasted nut, subtle jersey caramel notes and a chalky minerality. Serve lightly chilled on its own or as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes including white meat, poultry, pasta and fresh seafood.
