Established in 1985, cloudy bay was one of the first five wine makers to venture into marlborough. With vision and a humble commitment to quality, its founder, david hohnen, a farmer who loved wine, dreamt of expressing the terroir in his glass. Cloudy bay chardonnay, has proudly been part of the portfolio since 1986. Senior winemaker tim heath said of this deliciously savoury chardonnay: "impressive in its youth, this is a wine to watch".\r\nExpressing intense aromas of peaches, nectarines, aromatic herbs and biscuit. A light entry of stone fruit becomes a slippery mid-palate that re-focuses to an aromatic and mineral finish.
